Disabled bank accounts are not available for selection in any bank account list in the Cash Receipts, Payroll, and Accounts Payable modules, as well as the Bank Account Register.
Bank accounts must be disabled before they can be deleted.
Select Bank Management from the Banking menu, and the Bank Management window opens.
Select the bank whose account you want to disable, and click Edit, or click the Bank Name link. The Edit Bank window opens.
Select the enabled bank account you want to disable, and select Disable from the More menu. You're asked to confirm the action.
Click Yes. When the process is complete, the Results window opens displaying successes & failures.
Click Close when you're finished reviewing the results.
