Delete a Building

Buildings can only be deleted when they are inactive — before any assets have been added to them. If you're not going to use the building any longer, you can disable it, and it will remain in AptaFund for record keeping purposes.

1. Select Capital Assets Configuration from the Purchasing and Payables > Capital Assets menu.

2. Click on the Asset Sites tab.

3. Click the Site link to select the site whose building(s) you want to delete, and the buildings are displayed in the lower grid. Sample

4. Check the box(es) for the building(s) and click the Delete button at the bottom of the lower grid. You're asked to confirm the action.

5. Edit the Building and Rooms as needed.

6. Click Yes. The action is completed, and the Result window opens displaying successes and failures.

7. Click Close to close the Result window when you're done reviewing the results.
