You can disable a building in either the active or inactive state, although if a building is inactive you might rather delete it.
You can disable an active building if you're no longer going to use it. It will remain in the system for record-keeping purposes.
Select Capital Assets Configuration from the Purchasing and Payables > Capital Assets menu.
Click on the Asset Sites tab.
Click the Site link to select the site whose building(s) you want to disable, and the buildings are displayed in the lower grid. Sample
Check the box(es) for the building(s) and click the Disable Building button at the bottom of the lower grid. You're asked to confirm the action.
Click Yes. The action is completed, and the Result window opens displaying successes and failures.
Click Close when you're done reviewing the results.
