You can edit a calendar only if it's in the New or Inactive state.
A calendar is in the New state after it's been saved and before it's been associated with a master position.
The calendar becomes Inactive once a master position is associated with a calendar.
It becomes Active once the associated master position is assigned to an employee.
Note: If you're editing rolled over calendars, don't change their names because the rollover creates an association between the calendar and job/addendum templates. Create a new calendar if you want to use a different name.
Select Human Resources Configuration from the Human Resources menu. The window opens with the General tab displayed.
Click on the Calendar tab. Note: Be sure that the accounting cycle displayed beside the Logout button is the accounting cycle that contains the calendars you want to work in. If this is not the correct accounting cycle, select a different one.
Check the box for the New or Inactive calendar you want to edit, and click the Edit button, or click the Calendar Name link. The Edit Calendar window opens.
Make the needed changes. Refer to Designate Special Days on a Calendar for help adding specific types of days.
Click Save. Refer to Checking the Calendar to make sure you've satisfied with the changes.
