IRS regulations require you to give your consent before your employer can provide an electronic W-2 instead of a printed paper copy. You only have to give your consent once, but you can change your election at any time.
If you give consent to receive your w-2 electronically, you will have to download and save or print your W-2 from the ESS portal.
If you don't give consent — or revoke consent — to receive your w-2 electronically, you will still be able to view the W-2 online and download an additional copy.
Select My W-2 Consent Elections from the My AptaFund > Employee Self-Service menu, and the My W-2 Consent Elections window opens. Note that your current selection is indicated toward the bottom of the window.
Enter the password you use to log in to the portal in the Consent Password field.
Click Save, and the Thank You dialog opens.
Click OK when you've finished reading the text. Your consent has been given, so you'll need to download your W-2 when your employer makes it available.
