Beginning January 1, 2020, the W-4 Form has changed. Employees are NOT required to change their W-4 elections, but if they want to change W-4s in 2020, they must use the new form. Employees hired in 2020 or after are also required to use the new form.
Complete the Federal Withholding Information. Remember: You must have checked the Use 2020 W-4 Form box above to see the following fields.
Filing Status: Select from the pull-down list.
Two Household Jobs: Check the box if the employee has checked it on the W-4 form.
Other Income Amount: Enter the dollar amount from the employee's W-4.
Dependent Dollar Amount: Enter the dollar amount from the employee's W-4.
Extra Withholding: Enter the dollar amount from the employee's W-4.
Deductions Amount: Enter the dollar amount from the employee's W-4.

Additional Withholding: Enter a dollar amount, if this employee wants more withheld than would be withheld under the number of allowances claimed.
Earned Income Credit: Select No. The Advanced Earned Income Tax Credit was repealed on 8/10/2010.
W-5s Filed: Leave at 0.
