Edit the Account Mapping

You can edit the mapping rules for an account mapping in any state — new, modified, and rolled over.

You can't change the header information — old and new cycles — once the account mapping has been saved. If you need to change the header information in a New mapping, you'll have to delete the account mapping and create a new one.

  1. Select Account Mapping from the Chart of Accounts menu, and the Account Mapping window opens.

  2. Click the Old Cycle link, or check the box for the account mapping you want to edit, and click Edit. The Account Mapping Details window opens.

  3. Use the commands in the Account Mapping Rules grid to add, edit, delete, and change the sequence of the mapping rules.

  4. Click the Return to Account Mapping(s) link when you've finished editing the rules.
