Vacate Positions for a Group of Employees — Employee Jobs window

Vacating a position eliminates the link between an employee's job and a position in Position Management, opening the position to being filled by another employee.

  1. Select Employee Jobs from the Human Resources menu, and that window opens.

  2. Locate and select the employees for whom you want to vacate positions.

  3. Select Vacate Position from the More menu. You'll be asked to confirm the action.

  4. Click Yes to vacate the position(s). When complete, a notification of the number of positions vacated will be displayed.
