Edit an Employee

Employee information is not cycle-specific.

Note: In the illustration of the Employee Details popup, the arrows for the General, Employment & Custom Fields sections are in the downward-facing position to indicate that those sections are hidden. To display a section, click on the arrow.

  1. Select Manage Employees from the Human Resources menu, and that window opens.

  2. Use the Search feature or a filter to display the employee you want to edit.

  3. Click the Display Name link, or check the box for the employee, and click Edit. The Edit Employee popup opens. Note: If a logged in user doesn't have permission to see the employee's SSN, it will be masked with the letter X. Users with the proper permission can display the number by clicking the link labeled Show.

  4. Edit the information as needed, and click Save.

  5. Click the Return to Search link to return to the Manage Employees window.
