The Rollover feature:
generates a new transaction at the end of a leave schedule deducting the calculated rollover balance;
creates a new employee record for the next leave schedule; and
generates a new transaction at the beginning of the next leave schedule adding the calculated rollover balance.
ignores leave balances of zero and below.
The overflow cap applies to amounts overflowing into the leave type instead of amounts overflowing out of the leave type.
Overflow amounts are now capped and roll separately from the ending balance amount.
The overflow leave type is added to an employee during rollover if the employee doesn’t already have that leave type.
The new accounting cycle must exist.
New leave types must exist.
Select Leave Balances from the Leave menu, and that window opens.
Optional. Apply the FYE Employee Leave Balance Rollover system filter.
Filter for the leave type you want to roll.
Check the boxes for the employees you want to roll, and click Rollover. You're asked to confirm the action.
Click Yes. The Result window opens when the process is complete.
Click Close when you've finished reviewing the records.
