W-2 Form Summary Report

The W-2 Form Summary Report provides a way to review W-2 information, whether imported or generated by AptaFund. The report includes all adjustments made to W-2 data in the Employee W-2 Information window.

It can be created as an Excel file with 3 worksheets or a PDF file.

The W-2 Form Summary must balance to the previously filed 941 reports for each employee.

The report can be reached by selecting Reports > Payroll > W-2 Form Summary Report.

The report contains the following information:

• W-2 Form Count: Shows the total number of W-2 forms.

• W-2 Form Summary: Shows the totals by W-2 form box for all W-2s being generated.

• W-2 by Employee Report: Shows the detailed W-2 information per employee as entered, imported or adjusted in AptaFund.

Report filters are:

• Calendar Year

• Paycheck Site

• Department

• All Employees: Select either All Employees or Adjusted Employees Only

• Employee identifier: Select from employee SSN or employee number.
