Edit Proposed Amount

Use the Edit Proposed Amount command when you need to change the budget amount for an account in a Proposed budget.

If you need to change amounts in an Adopted, Adjusted, or Revised budget, see Adjust a Budget or Revise a Budget.

  1. Select Budget Management from the Budget menu, and that window opens with the current fiscal year budget displayed.

  2. Select the Cycle, Fund, and Account Type as needed to find the budget item(s) you want to edit.

  3. Check the box(es) for the account(s) you want to change, and click Edit Proposed Amount. The Edit Proposed Amount window opens.

  4. Enter the new amount in the Proposed Amount field, and click Save, if editing a single account, or Save and Next, if editing multiple accounts.

  5. Repeat step 4 until you've edited the last of the selected accounts.

  6. Click Save. You're notified that the record was saved correctly.
