Revert to Prior Mapping

The Revert to Prior Mapping command is available only for account mappings in the Modified state — account mappings that have been changed after using them to roll over the chart of accounts.

This feature returns the account mapping rules to the rules that were used the last time the chart of accounts was rolled over.

This command does not affect the chart of accounts itself in either the old or new accounting cycles — it affects only the account mapping rules.

Revert to prior mapping

1. Select Account Mapping from the Chart of Accounts menu, and the Account Mapping window opens.

2. Check the box for the modified account mapping you want to revert, and select Revert to Prior Mapping from the More menu. You're asked to confirm the action.

3. Click Yes. The rules are reverted to the prior mapping.
