An account code security group determines which accounts a user can access.
If you need to add a single user to an account code security group, you can use either the Account Code Security tab in User Details or the Mass Account Code Security feature.
If you need to assign account code security to a group of employees, it will be faster to use the Mass Account Code Security feature.
Note: Account code security groups are defined in Administration > Account Code Security.
Select Security, then Manage Users, from the Administration menu. The Manage Users window opens.
Check the box for the user account you want to edit, and click the Edit button, or click the Last Name link. The User Detail window opens.
Click on the Account Code Security tab.
Check the box(es) for the group(s) you want to apply, and click Assign Group(s). The group is assigned, and displays Yes in the Allowed column.
