You can only edit custom templates — those marked with No in the System Template column.
You may edit a custom security template that has already been assigned to one or more users, but you must determine how you want to handle users who are already linked to this template.
Select Security, then Security Template, from the Administration menu. The Security Template window opens. Note: You may want to search or filter the list to make it easier to find the template you want to edit. Sample
Check the box to elect the template you want to edit, and click Edit, or click the Name link. The Security Template Details window opens.
Optional. Filter the list, and increase the number of permissions displayed in the window to make it easier to find the permissions you want to assign.
Choose how to handle users linked to this template, if any.
Check the box labeled Reset permissions for all Users associated with this User Security Template if you want linked users to receive the new set of permissions.
Leave the box unchecked if you want to leave those users' permissions unchanged. This choice will cause the new permissions to be applied only to users linked to the template in the future.
Make the necessary edits.
