AptaFund provides security that safeguards against unauthorized access to accounting information and unauthorized and/or malicious data corruption.
The person setting up security must have either Fund Administrator template permissions or view/edit/delete permissions for all groups in the Administration module.
User permissions determine which AptaFund menu items each employee can see and access.
User access can be assigned either by the use of security templates — either system templates or templates created by your Fund Administrator — or by giving access to specific actions within individual modules.
If employees don't have access to a certain module — for example, Payroll — they won't even see the Payroll menu in the Home window.
If employees have access to only certain items in a module — for example, Add Purchase Order in the Purchasing module — they will see only those items in that module's menu.
Account code security determines which account codes are available to users in different groups.
