Records that have files attached will display the number of attached files in the Attachments column in the appropriate grid. The Attachments column is hidden by default, but may be displayed in the grid by using the Display Settings dialog.
Viewing an attachment is done by downloading the file to your computer.
You can view attached files from within either the Vendor Invoice window or the Edit Invoice window.
The pictures in this section use the feature in Capital Assets > Asset Management as an example.
Within the window that supports attachments, select the record that has an attachment you want to view, and select Attached Files from the More menu, or click the Attachment(s) link. The Attached Files window opens.
Check the box for the attachment you want to view, and click the View button, or click the Display Name link. The Save As dialog window opens.
Navigate to the location you want to save the attachment, and click Save. The file is downloaded to your hard drive.
Click the Return to... link in the upper right corner.
The pictures in this section use the feature in Accounts Payable > Vendor Invoice as an example.
Within the window that supports attachments, check the box for the record that has an attachment you want to view, and select Edit, or click the Invoice(s) link. The Edit Invoice window opens.
Click on the Attached Files tab, and you'll see the list of files.
Check the box for the attachment you want to view, and click the View button, or click the Display Name link. The Save As dialog window opens.
Navigate to the location you want to save the attachment, and click Save. The file is downloaded to your hard drive.
