Edit a Purchase Requisition

Requisitions can only be edited in the New, Rejected, and Submitted states.

You can also view the budget for a requisition while editing it.

Edit a requisition

  1. Select Purchase Requisition from the Purchasing menu, My Purchase Requisitions from the My AptaFund menu, or My Purchase Requisition Approvals from the My AptaFund menu.

  2. Check the box(es) to select New, Submitted, or Rejected requisition(s), and click the Edit button. The Edit Purchase Requisition window opens. Note: If you selected more than one PR, you'll be able to use the paging arrow at the top right of the window to page through the records.

Edit header items

  1. Edit information in the General section.

  2. If you don't need to edit the Requested Items, click Save if editing a single PR or Save and Next to edit multiple PRs. You're returned to the Purchase Requisitions window.

Edit requested items & account codes

  1. Check the box for the requested item you want to edit, and click Edit, or click the Item link. The Edit Purchase Requisition Line Item popup opens.

  2. Edit the information as needed.

  3. When finished, click Save, or click Save and Add to enter another line item.

Once a New or Rejected requisition has been edited, you can submit it for approval.
