User's Guide
The My Purchase Requisition Approvals window is used to view, approve, and disapprove PRs for which the logged-on user is part of the approval process.
It's accessed by users with Purchasing Approver or Purchasing Manager or equivalent permissions.
Only submitted reqs may be approved or rejected.
Select My Purchase Requisition Approvals from the Purchasing menu, and the My Purchase Requisition Approvals window opens displaying the PRs requiring my attention.
Three options are available to view the lists of requisitions in this window:
As needed, click either the Warehouse Requisitions or Replenishment Purchase Requisitions link to view those reqs.
If needed, uncheck the Requiring My Attention box to display other PRs for which you are an approver, but that aren't yet ready for your action or on which you've already acted.
The window defaults to show the reqs in the primary approval process of which you're a part. If you also have responsibilities as a backup approver, select the other role from the My Approvals pull-down list.
Select one or more Submitted reqs, and click the Approve button at the bottom of the window.
You're notified of how many reqs were approved. When a req is approved, the requisitioner is notified by email, as is the next approver in the process, if applicable.
Select one or more Submitted reqs, and click the Disapprove button at the bottom of the window.
You're notified of how many reqs were disapproved. When a req is disapproved, the requisitioner is notified by email.
To view a req, select a req, and click the View button at the bottom of the window. The My Requisition Approvals Details window opens.
To review the item(s) on a req, select an item, and click the View button at the bottom of the Requested Items list. The Requisition Item Details window opens. Click Cancel when finished reviewing the item.
To determine where the req is in the approval process, click the Approval History tab.
