Edit Budget Data

Once you've generated the budget development grid, you can edit the data in the grid.

Using the Budget Development grid, you can add and edit items.

You can also delete result sets that you're no longer using — for example, those from a previous year — by selecting the Delete Result Set command from the gear menu at the top of the Budget Development grid.

Edit items

  1. Select Budget Development from the Budget menu, and the Budget Development window opens to the Source tab.

  2. Click the Continue with Previous Editing button, and the Budget Development grid opens.

  3. Select the projected data set you want to work with from the pull-down list, and the grid will load.

  4. Check the box(es) for the account(s) you want to edit and click Edit, or click the Account Code link to edit a single account. Note: You can also click Edit All to edit all the accounts. The Edit Record window opens.

  5. Change the Projected Amount, and click Save or Save and Next.

  6. When you're finished making changes, click the Save All Modifications button.

Add items

  1. Select Budget Development from the Budget menu, and the Budget Development window opens to the Source tab.

  2. Click the Continue with Previous Editing button, and the Budget Development grid opens.

  3. Select the projected data set you want to work with from the pull-down list, and the grid will load.

  4. Click the Add button at the bottom of the grid, and the Add Record window opens.

  5. Enter the Projected Amount.

  6. To enter the Account Code, either begin to type the account code and select it from the resulting list, or click the and use the Account Code Assistant.

  7. Click Save or Save and Next.

  8. When you're finished making changes, click the Save All Modifications button.
