Apply a Discount or Premium to a PR

Use the Apply Discount/Premium feature to add credit memos, price increases, and other discounts or premiums as line items on purchase requisitions.

Discounts and premiums can only be applied to purchase requisitions in the New or Rejected state

You can apply discounts or premiums at any time; however, they are not automatically updated to reflect changes that occur after they are applied. For example, if you apply a discount of 10% and then change the unit price, the original discount amount will not be changed automatically, but you can change it manually.

Apply discount/premium to a purchase requisition

  1. Select Purchase Requisition from the Purchasing menu or My Purchase Requisitions from the My AptaFund menu.

  2. Check the box to select a New or Rejected requisition, and click Edit, or click the Request No link. The Edit Purchase Requisition window opens.

  3. Click the Apply Discount/Premium button at the bottom of the window. The Apply Discount/Premium window opens.

  4. Complete the fields as described.

  5. Click Save. The discount or premium is applied, and a notification is displayed in the Edit Purchase Requisition window.
