Using Parameter Sets

At any time during the process of setting parameters using the Input Wizard, you may reset the parameters to the default set, save the set and load it at a later date. You may also discard any set you decide not to use.

Reset to default parameter set

1. While in one of the Budget Development windows, click the New button at the bottom of the window, and a warning window opens with the message, "All Budget Development parameters will be reset to their default values allowing you to start a new Budget Development project. Do you want to continue?"

2. Click Yes, and the parameters reset to the default.

Save a parameter set

1. While in one of the Budget Development windows, click the Save button, and the Save Report Settings window opens.

2. Enter a title that will help you differentiate between budget scenarios.

3. Click OK, and the parameters are saved within the system.

Load a saved parameter set

1. While in one of the Budget Development windows, click the Load Saved Settings button, and the Open Saved Report Settings window opens.

2. Select a parameter set from the pull-down list.

3. Click OK, and the Budget Development windows will display the saved parameters.

Delete a saved parameter set

1. While in one of the Budget Development windows, click the Load Saved Settings button, and the Open Saved Report Settings window opens.

2. Select a parameter set from the pull-down list.

3. Click Delete, and the parameter set will be deleted.
