Use the Human Resources Configuration window to define values that will be used throughout the HR module.
Click on the links below for instructions. Use the:
General tab to define various settings, including budget checking, minimum wage, the lists for Certificate Management, and various other values
Element Restrictions tab to restrict the account codes in the system that should not be used for jobs/addenda transactions.
Employee Groups tab to create the groups that will be assigned to the different leave types.
Institutions tab to enter the colleges, universities, and schools to be used on the Education History tab in Manage Employees.
Degrees tab to enter the detail for the degrees to be used on the Education History tab in Manage Employees and determining the employee's placement on a salary schedule.
Subjects tab to enter the college majors to be used on the Education History tab in Manage Employees.
Extended Leave tab to define the types of extended leave used on the Extended Leave tab in Manage Employees.
Salary Schedules tab to create salary schedule matrices that will allow users to automate the setting of employee’s salaries.
Calendar tab to define contract day calendars for employees.
Employee Contract Types tab to define and enable contract types linked to employee jobs.
Evaluator tab to enter the names of people designated as evaluators for use by New York customers in employee evaluations.
